The Pulitzer presents the first major museum exhibition of the work of Ruth Asawa (1926–2013) since 2006, and the first ever outside the West Coast, where the artist lived and worked for six decades. Between Form and Content will be the very first exhibition to focus on Jacob Lawrence’s experiences during the summer of 1946, when Josef Albers invited Lawrence to teach painting at Black Mountain College.
